Occupy SFSU Video Sequence -
Thursday, Dec. 15
Here’s some simple footage - shot and edited by me - of Occupy SFSU demonstrators and SFSUstudents, cohabiting Malcolm X Plaza on the SFSU campus. Temperatures were welcoming - around 45 degrees Fahrenheit, thus most of the demonstrators were tucked away in their tents. Oh, and there was also a Tabby Cat named Sam - The Occupy Cat. Thanks for watching.

The above is a chart I created showing the amount of on-duty, full-time police officers there are compared to the number of CSU students per campus in 2010. Interesting things to note: the data was gathered via the FBI’s Uniform Crime Data Reports for the year 2010. The FBI wasn’t able to get the enrollment numbers for San Jose State, and therefore only the number of police officers is displayed. The Channel Islands and Monterey Bay have the largest police presence per 1,000 students. The Channel Islands campus has approx.. 3,000 students and has 13 full-time police officers on duty. Monterey Bay campus has approx.. 4,000 students and has 13 full-time officers. In contrast would be CSU Fullerton. With ten times the number of students as the Channel Islands, Fullerton only has 10 more officers.

I decided to ask my fellow SFSU students about their superpower of choice. Their lust for power is most disturbing.
Anonymous asked: why does your blog show up without any posts. its just blank.
I’ve started it anew so I can use it for my Digital Newsgathering class at SFSU. I have to be able to upload my own audio interviews, videos and stuff like that.
